Welcome to Stearley Heights Elementary School, Home of the Mighty Dolphins. We are a school comparable in size to an average neighborhood elementary school in the U.S. Our school campus sits on the top of the Stearley Heights housing area on Kadena Air Base.  The school facility, built in 1984 and has an established reputation for being a fine school.  SHES has a fully certified, experienced and highly motivated staff. Every effort is made to maintain class sizes conducive to learning and student success. We offer a fine array of curricular classes to include specialized instruction in Art, Music, PE, Spanish, and the culture of our Host Nation. We also host a full complement of support classes such as Gifted, Compensatory, and Special Education.

We are extremely proud of our students, as they routinely score well above the national average on standardized national assessments.
